With extreme sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved brother in Christ, Daniel Diaz. For all who knew him, he was better known as (Danny). Danny Diaz unexpectedly passed away on Christmas Day at the age of 61, leaving behind his two children Danny Jr and Denise, and his wife Omega. He also leaves behind his loving sister, Elizabeth, and his parents Isabel (Tona) and Belarminio. Danny was a faithful man devoted to his church family (Canaan Christian Church) in Jackson, NJ.
Danny grew up in Jersey City, NJ, where he spent most of his life serving his community for 35 years as a Law Enforcement Officer and retired two years ago as a Lieutenant for the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office. Danny was an amazing husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle, and friend. The family is understandably shocked by this loss and, unfortunately, not prepared for all that goes along with planning a funeral during these uncertain times. We are raising to cover the cost of a funeral with a memorial service.
We want to thank everyone for the kind words and support they've already shown throughout this difficult time our family faces. It means more to us than words can say.
