Daniel Brubach's Cancer Relief Fund

As his friends know, Dan--who is 49 years young--has been battling throat cancer for more than 5 years. In March 2018, after a recurrence that resulted in months of really tough chemotherapy, Dan had a total laryngectomy and lost the use of his voice. That was followed by weeks of hospitalization and radiation at the UVA Cancer Center in Charlottesville. This treatment was his best chance to be cancer free and for a few months he was in the clear. But, on August 15, his birthday, he received a devastating diagnosis--the cancer had returned.

Dan has been strong during all of this, but because of the nature of his cancer, he is in constant pain, uses a feeding tube, and has trouble communicating. He is unable to work and pay his medical bills and basic costs of living. He is very stressed about his finances and his diagnosis, and we are raising money to support Dan so he can get all of the necessary help he needs during this difficult time and focus on resting and recovering.
