Daniel Barrientos's Eagle Scout Project
Donation protected
Hi! My name is Daniel Barrientos Garcia and I'm a Life Scout at Troop 22. Currently, I'm working on trying to get my Eagle Scout rank. This is the highest achievement in Boy Scouts and one of the requirements is to complete a service project.
I started my scouting journey in Cub Scouts when I was 8 years old. It's been a long time since then and throughout the way I've learned so much, that's helped me grow into a better person. Scouting has given me so many great opportunities and I'm extremely thankful for that.
Now I'm excited to announce that I'm starting my Eagle Scout Project. For my project, I will be making 100 signs for the Pierce College Horticulture area. Each sign will consist of a vinyl plaque and an aluminum stand holding it up. Furthermore, each sign will identify a different plant by stating its name, its scientific name, family type, and nativity.
This will benefit the Pierce College Horticulture area in helping to renovate what they currently have. Their end goal is to have this area open for college students and to the public when enough renovations have been made. My project will help this goal by identifying the various types of plants they have in their Horticulture area.
I'm asking you to please help me fundraise for my project and I will gladly accept any amount that's contributed.
Thank you very much!
