Hello,
My name is Jaime Mendez. I turn to the community, seeking help for my little cousin Daniel. Daniel is from Colombia, is 10 years old and has a Spastic Cerebral Palsy diagnosis.
Daniel is currently in 6th grade at school. He is an incredibly intelligent young child, who has taught himself English and Chinese (currently) solely through a computer.
Daniel's Family have found a Medical Center in Mexico to perform a surgery that offers hope and has the potential to impact his life greatly by helping him walk again.
With just the money for their plane tickets from Colombia to Mexico (which they have in hand already), his parents have scheduled the surgery for the 4th of July and hope to be able to get the funds necessary for such procedure.
Daniel is full of life and has many interests and aspirations in life. You can see him playing his favorite musical instrument, the accordion, below.
Your contribution would mean the world to him, as his biggest dream is to be able to play soccer with his little sister, Victoria, and run next to her someday.
Daniel is aware of the efforts we are making through your generosity and is excited for this opportunity. He has sent me a video he wanted me to upload to personally thank you. Unfortunately, I do not know how to do that.
