Dane's Hockey Trip to Denmark

Dear Potential Supporter,
My name is Dane Olsen. I play Hockey for the Denver University Junior Pioneers, Peewee Team. I have been invited to represent TEAM Planet Hockey USA in the 22nd annual Planet Hockey European Hockey Summit. With your support, I will travel to Denmark this summer to compete against, to train with and to live with skilled European hockey players and coaches.
This Tour will provide both competitive hockey and rich cultural experiences. I will be representing the United States in an International Hockey Camp & Tournament that may include teams from Sweden, Denmark, Germany and Norway. We will tour surrounding cities and will also tour castles, museums and other historical landmarks. I am hoping that sponsors, like you, can help make this trip of a lifetime a reality.
I have Danish Ancestors and have always wanted to visit Denmark. Hockey is my favorite sport and to achieve my goals for my future, I have to continue to work hard and perfect my skills. Playing Hockey and visiting Denmark at the same time is an opportunity I don't want to miss!
All players must travel with at least one adult. I am very fortunate that my Grandma has offered to take me. The players will be staying with a host family, while the adult family members will be in a hotel close to the rink.
The total cost of this Tour will be approximately $2,400 per person, plus our air travel. My goal is to raise money through the generous support of individuals and businesses like yourself. If for some reason I fall short of my fundraising goals or cannot attend this tour for any other reason, your donation will be returned immediately.
