On Wednesday October 17th, Dan Duciuc received the exciting news from his daughter Tatiana that he now has a grandson, Noah. With that excitement, Dan and his wife Emilia had plans to visit their grandson for the first time on Saturday. Under unfortunate circumstances, Friday October 19th Dan suffered a Ventricular Fibrillation Arrest (massive heart attack) in his home which resulted in Emilia performing CPR and calling 911. He was rushed over to Evergreen Health Medical Center and was admitted to Intensive Critical Care (ICU). Dan didn’t regain consciousness so the doctors initiated Hypothermia Protocol to protect his brain. His body temperature was lowered to 33oC and was put in an induced coma. His Left Anterior Descending Artery (LAD) was 100% occluded and required 2 stents. A balloon pump was placed to support his heart while it recovers from being stunned.

Saturday morning after the doctors warmed Dan’s body, he started seizing, which required them to result back to the hypothermia protocol and induced coma. An EEG was completed on Sunday and with his family along side, Dan had some movement in his hands and feet. At this time, Dan continues to be in the induced coma but is starting to show signs of improvement such as responding to some minimum commands such as moving his fingers.

Dan is a A child of God, a husband, father and grandpa who is loved by many.

The Duciuc family is in great need of your spiritual and financial support. Dan is the sole provider in his home. He continues to have a long road ahead of him. We ask for your prayers that Dan would make a full recovery, that God would provide healing, and that God would provide wisdom to and bless the hands of the physicians treating him. We trust deeply in God’s sovereignty in this situation because we know the mighty power and love of our Lord, Jesus Christ. We humbly ask that you would help the Danciuc family in this time of need in any way you are able to.

Psalm 147:3 He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.
