Dancing to Antwerp

Hey there. Meshake Lusolo here. You may know me from events in Goma, DRC such as Dance ya Kivu Battle where I convene young and energetic dancers to compete and grow their skills at whatever level they are. Sometimes I get on the dance floor for judge showcasing:

I'm usually working hard for my group and my dance community but also have solo work ambitions and now I'm looking for a bit of support from friends, fans, and lovers of art to help me realize a dream: to dance with and learn from Sidi Larbi. 

I've just received an invitation to join a select group of dancers in Antwerp Belgium for a ten-day training and now the clock is ticking to raise what I need to cover transport and participation costs. By the end of April I need to have a downpayment that will reserve my spot and so I'm appealing to all of you for any support or boost you can offer to help me make this happen.


This is a unique opportunity that I'm anxious not to lose. It's a rough market for artists anywhere who are struggling up but it's especially challenging when you're doing so in Congo, where exposure to professional development options are limited and travel is expensive.
