<div>Our beautiful Marcello Milani, lead singer of the 'faeries has lung cancer. He has had major surgery and is facing radiotherapy and chemotherapy treatment .

<div>Right now he can't work and is recovering from an infection in his lungs so he can receive more treatment. At this stage we know he won't be able to work in the immediate future. Illnesses like these are tough, lonely - and costly.

<div>Paola is supporting him, although she is also also caring daily for her mum, impacting her work capacity and has not had work over January.
</div>

<div>Like most of us 90s and naughties gang - Marcello and all the bands he performed in were some of the greatest nights of our lives.

<div>We danced, we made new friends, we celebrated Brisbane music together and Marcello has been at the deepest heart of creating what we all enjoy now. From hearing March onstage to him being behind the sound desk making us sound the best we can possibly be - with his never-ending smile and warmth.

<div>The 'faeries were always so generous, playing brilliant music and giving their time for free at benefits and weddings when people needed their help. And now March needs us

And also let him know how much his music and his voice have given to all of us - joy, positivity, purpose and the gift of looking at the bigger picture in life. I don't think he realizes how many people care about him and what he has done for us.
