<div>During my breast cancer treatments, I started dancing in hospital hallways.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Something radical shifted:
</div>
<div>I felt alive again and also... literal ecstasy moving through my sick body!!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>So of course I followed that sensation and after dancing everywhere in public for 30 days, a question emerged:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Why isn’t everyone dancing?
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>What expert interviews reveal is that:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This isn’t new. Humans have always gathered, danced, and entered states of shared joy.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>But over time, as our cultures became more focused on control of behavior, of bodies, of expression—those spaces were reduced.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Even today, at school, we are trained to suppress, obey, and behave.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>And so to survive, we often live in a kind of inner war.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>At this stage, I am prepping to film the last part of the documentary which is also becoming a real life movement. I am helping all dance tribes to unites so we can create:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>-street dance pop-ups
</div>
<div>-outdoor “dance it all” parties
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In short, people reconnecting to their bodies, emotions, each other , outdoors and in public.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The plan is to activate Lisbon and to then pass the batton—so others activate their own cities.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Why now?
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>At a time when systems are collapsing and disconnection is at its peak,
</div>
<div>this is a different kind of response...an invitation to come back to life—
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>and find peace within, with each other and with nature.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>What your support makes possible:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>-bring my cinematographer on location
</div>
<div>-film real-time public activations in Lisbon
</div>
<div>-capture key interviews
</div>
<div>-and finish the film as the movement unfolds
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If this resonates, you’re already part of it.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for helping bring this to life.
</div>
<div><br />
