Dance Bahamas School

Like most dance institutions  the world over, in 2020 Dance Bahamas School (DBS) had to discontinue classes due to the pandemic. All activities such as its community outreach programs, Scholarship program, Royal Academy of Dance Examinations  and performances were canceled.  As a result, revenue which has helped to sustain this great Bahamian institution for the past 21 years was interrupted and now has place Dance Bahamas School at risk of closing.

We know that these are not easy times despite the challenges, our students need their activities more than ever in order to maintain a sense of balance and normalcy during these COVID times. To this end, we have allowed some students to return free of charge for the term and possibly for the remainder of the year in order for them to have continuity of training.

In this regard, we have embarked on a fund raising campaign to raise $20,000 (Twenty Thousand dollars).  This amount will help us to continue our programs and cover some of our expenses until we can fully open again.

Please help DBS by making a donation and telling your friends and neighbours about this campaign.  It is only with your support that we can overcome the challenges of these times.

We don’t know what the future holds but we believe that you can help us make it through so that we can be even stronger when we get back together in the future. Your support of dance is more important now, than ever.
