<div>The St. Barnabas community is reaching out to ask for your support for the <strong>Payne family</strong>; devoted members of the St. Barnabas School and Parish, and the Beverly community. Dan and Lisa Payne are parents to three children, Joe (6th grade), Pat (4th grade), and Margaret (1st grade). Dan works for the Elmhurst Park District and Lisa as a public school teacher in Evergreen Park. Both have committed their lives to the service of others, but now is the time for us to help them.

<div>In 2024, Dan was diagnosed with <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ALS" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">ALS</a> (<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ALS" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis</a>). This devastating illness has forever changed the trajectory of their lives and brought emotional and financial strain to their family.
