<div>Hello all, to my animation community, friends, family, and acquaintances. As many of you know, I was recently diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma (a blood cancer). This is a complicated, serious and sudden health situation that has hit me hard. It is treatable they say. I have been in the hospital for the past week, getting tests and receiving my initial treatments. There have been complications and setbacks but most of the path forward they say can be outpatient and I can be at home recovering, I hope, as much as I can.

<div>I am mostly beyond words as I face one of the biggest challenges of my life.

<div>They don’t know exactly why it happens, but it does and luckily as I’ve been told, there are promising treatments.
