Dombashoko Village Computer Project

Donation protected
Dombashoko Primary School in rural Zimbabwe’s Gwanda North, Matabeleland South province, on Sunday (May 5, 2019) missed a World Vision deadline for raising funds for an E-Learning project designed to empower rural children with computer and Internet skills. World Vision has pledged to give the school a laptop, projector, router and 46 tablets for E-Learning purposes but will only do so if the community sources other relevant components of the project, the first of its kind in Gwanda North where some children have never used a computer let alone the Internet. We have been given a second chance by World Vision to raise at least $2500 US$ by May 10, 2019, to buy an A370 Watt Solar Panel, Charger Controller, 1500 watts inverter and 24 vaults battery. It’s painful to think that we may miss this golden chance to empower children as local people have raised less than $400 for the project. We are appealing to you all to help this just cause. #NoDonationIsTooLittle #ELearning4DombashokoKidz #ItTakesAVillage ***Please note that this particular fundraising campaign is in Canadian dollars and not United States dollars***
