Dalton's Battle with Ellers Danlos Syndrome

Donation protected
In a world where dreams are often within reach, Dalton Lambert's journey took an unexpected turn when Eller's Danlos syndrome, a rare and debilitating condition, became a part of his life. As a vibrant young adult, Dalton had limitless potential – excelling academically, shining on the basketball court, and cherished by friends and family alike. However, at the tender age of 18, the first whispers of pain and discomfort crept into his life, signaling the onset of a relentless battle.

Eller's Danlos syndrome, with its cruel manifestations of joint disfigurement, nerve flare-ups, and dietary restrictions, slowly eroded Dalton's once vibrant existence. Dreams of a promising basketball career and the pursuit of higher education faded into the background as his body betrayed him, leaving him confined to the walls of his own home. Simple pleasures like sharing a meal with loved ones or engaging in social activities became distant memories, replaced by a daily struggle for survival.

While others took for granted the freedom of movement and the ability to pursue their passions, Dalton yearned for a taste of normalcy. The relentless pain and physical limitations robbed him of opportunities and left him longing for relief. Despite the overwhelming challenges he faced, Dalton's spirit remained unbroken, his resilience a beacon of hope in the darkest of times.

Now, as Dalton bravely battles each day against the relentless grip of Eller's Danlos syndrome, there is a glimmer of hope on the horizon. With your support, we can provide him with the comfort and relief he so desperately deserves. A simple gesture, like a massage chair, can offer moments of respite amidst the storm, easing his pain and enhancing the quality of his life.

He’s 31 years old and has been suffering for 13 years in prideful silence. my brother has helped me to appreciate the body that I have as I used to throw away my days not appreciating the simple things I have in life today, such as the simple capabilities of a social life work travel, certain foods, just small enjoyments that you could think of etc. is my best friend and help me through every single tough moment I’ve ever had my life. I hope that this will help him.

Join us in this journey of compassion and solidarity as we stand beside Dalton Lambert, championing his cause and ensuring that his indomitable spirit continues to shine bright. Together, we can make a difference – one act of kindness at a time.
