Dallas Ellis III Stroke Recovery

Donation protected
Dallas Ellis III is currently a third year Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences candidate at Morehouse School of Medicine. More importantly, he is a son, a brother, and a friend to many. On Wednesday January 17th, Dallas suffered a significant stroke on the left side of his brain affecting both his speech and motor functions. He was taken to Grady Hospital where they took him into surgery to remove the clot from his brain and prevent any further damage. He underwent an additional surgery to relieve cranial pressure resulting from the swelling of his brain, and is currently in the ICU for further monitoring. He is in stable condition, but as you may imagine his journey to recovery is just beginning. The medical staff at Grady’s Comprehensive Stroke Center are continuing to provide Dallas with exceptional physical support, while his family is ensuring that he has no shortage of spiritual and emotional strength. The goal of this fundraiser is to ensure that the financial burden associated with his recovery is minimized as much as possible. We are aiming to raise 3,000 dollars for Dallas Ellis and his family to cover things such as hospital bills, prescription cost, medical equipment, etc. Any donations, no matter how large or small, would go a long way in assisting with this effort. Together we can make a tremendous impact on the life of our brother.
