Dallas Motorcycle Accident: Help Josh & Eliza

Dear friends and family,

I’ve set up this page to support a young couple — Eliza Touchton and Josh Stiers — through a challenging time.

Josh was riding his motorcycle on Friday, October 21st, when he was involved in a major accident at 278 and Yorkville Highway in Dallas, GA. He was airlifted to Atlanta’s Grady Hospital, where he received 30 units of blood. He is currently intubated and responsive but has sustained multiple injuries: a busted bladder, broken rib, broken pelvis, broken arm and wrist, broken nose, impacted cheek bones, and significant injuries to his backside -- per his sister, "the entirety of his back and backside basically peeled off."

Eliza first heard about the accident while accompanying her little sister, Chloe, on a school field trip. When someone mentioned a motorcycle accident blocking traffic nearby, she had an immediate sinking feeling. When her Poppa called to ask what color Josh’s bike was, she knew.

Josh is uplifted in prayer and fighting hard, but recovery will be a long road.

Eliza and Josh are high-school sweethearts who just moved into their first apartment together this fall. They both work service jobs and are a young, bright-eyed couple making their first steps out into the world.

The funds collected here will go directly to help the couple cover rent, lost income, and other care-related expenses for the immediate future.
