Dale's Cancer Fund

Dale Broomes is 37 years old and has two kids, ages 17 and 10. He has worked at Yellow Bird Hotel for the past 10 years as a Maintenance/General Worker.
He was recently diagnosed with Stage 3 Hodgkin's Lymphoma and is undergoing chemotherapy. Part of his treatment includes bi-weekly blood work, regular CT scans, lung function tests and heart echo to determine if the treatment he is receiving is working without damaging his major organs.
The Management & Staff of Yellow Bird are assisting to raise funds for Dale. Our business associates, industry partners, family and friends have come forward and we have opened a Not for Profit account in Barbados to facilitate and keep account of the donations.
We also have a large number of repeat guests who want to help Dale. Gofundme.org does not operate in Barbados so an account was opened in Canada to facilitate donations from any part of the world. All funds donated will be transferred to Dale's Barbados account.
Donations can also be made directly to Dale's Cancer Fund account at Scotiabank (send a message for the account details) or can be dropped off to Yellow Bird Hotel's reception desk in an envelope addressed to "Dale's Cancer Fund".

Update - May 2018
Guess what? Dale's treatment is finally over and he is ready to come back to work! Our heartfelt thanks to everyone who prayed for him and/or contributed to his cancer fund.
12 chemotherapy treatments later, he looks great, is hale and hearty and so relieved to get the all clear from the doctors.
We have been able to raise some of the funds needed and are only short by about Can 5,000 Thanks once again for your love and support. We could not have done this without all of you.
