Dale Mataitis had a significant stroke on june 15, causing full right side paralysis and he is unable to speak or communicate with us. His daughter has flown in from washington leaving behind her two toddlers and husband to be with her father who is presently at Providence Saint Patricks hospital in missoula, mt.
She has been by his side for 9 days now , and has begun the process of sorting out his finances and plan for rehab, the bills are piling up and so are travel costs. Dale is also in desperate need of new hearing aids to be able to work with physical therapy and speech therapy.
He has improved a little bit but the road to recovery is going to be a long hard expensive one for all involved.
Dale is a lead construction worker often working 7 days a week never taking a handout and would give you the shirt off of his back anyday.
I always remember him making me give him a to do list when he came to visit on the ranch, never idle, always wanting to help everyone. He would never ask for help but he is going to need all the help can get him right now.
So im hoping we can all chip in a little bit to get this Dad and GrandFather back on his feet. We all know how expensive this all is and how it hits us outa know where, any little bit helps provide a little relief to Dale and especially his daughter who has dropped everything to help her Dad and to her wonderful husband who is working hard back home and taking care of kids.
Thank you all for taking the time to read this.
God Bless
