On Saturday, August 26, Houston was hit by a hurricane of unprecedented size and destruction. It has been declared the worst flooding event in Texas' history, and the waters are still rising. Weather forecasts are currently showing that the rain will continue into next week as Harvey continues to stall over Southeast Texas.
Dale Carnegie Training of Austin and Houston is committed to doing what we can to assist in relief and recovery efforts in the Houston area. We have many friends and neighbors in Houston, and our hearts go out to them during this time of tragedy and disaster.
We are raising funds to donate to the Greater Houston Community Foundation in their relief efforts. Our goal is to reach $10,000 by September 28. To learn more about GHCF, follow this link: http://ghcf.org
We know that the damage and devastation may seem overwhelming, but every little donation helps in the relief efforts. If only 200 people donate $50 each, then we will reach our goal! No amount is too small!
