Critical Items for Orphans in Dakar

In April, I will be travelling to Senegal with a small group of other Americans, and in that time we will be visiting orphanages in Dakar.   I cannot begin to express the level of need that exists in these institutions across West Africa, and we have a unique opportunity to make a difference.  I need your help to do so.

We are raising money that we will use to buy items that these institutions desperately need: diapers, wipes, formula, school supplies, rice, etc.

I will personally purchase all of these goods on the local economy, so this money will also provide direct economic benefit to the local communities.

Rarely is there an opportunity for 100% of your donations to have a powerful effect on the micro-economic level, so please give what you can.

Every donation, no matter how small, WILL make a huge difference to these children in need.

This effort is not associated with any organization or charity - it is simply me and my colleagues trying to make a difference where there is a severe need.
