Daisy's Emergency Fund

It's been a long and hard journey due to a diabetes condition. Last year I had a blood clot in an artery in my leg so the doctors performed an Angiogram to open up the clogged artery in order  to improve blood circulation in my right leg. This last April, the stent that was inserted during the Angiogram procedure last year got blocked. I then experienced excruciating pain in my lower right leg that led the doctors to perform another Angiogram to open up the artery. After the second Angiogram I suffered from Acute Compartment Syndrome so doctors had to perform a Fasciotomy to relieve pressure that resulted from loss of blood circulation in my leg. As a result of these procedures I was in the hospital for 16 days. I am now recovering from home but still have several follow-up appointments with my doctors. I am waiting for a determination of whether I will need a skin graft to close the open wound caused by the Fasciotomy procedure.  I am therefore unable to return to work for an undetermined period of time.
