On November 7, 2018, several members of various government agencies including Alberta Health Services, Alberta Agriculture and Forestry as well as members of the RCMP raided Dave's family farm.


What issue did they believe was so dangerous that it required a team of bureaucrats and armed officers to confront his wife and children while he was gone?


The suspected sale of farm fresh milk.


On December 6, 2018, the Province of Alberta charged Dave with three counts under the Dairy Industry Act of Alberta.  Each count carries a maximum fine of $25 000 for a total of up to $75 000.  Should the case proceed to trial, Dave's legal fees have been estimated at $50 000.  This brings the estimated total up to $125 000. 


Dave believes that Canadians have the right to make informed decisions when it comes to their diet and what they buy to feed their family.
