<div>At the end of September, I was diagnosed with cancer when a little bump under my skin turned out to be <strong>Merkel cell carcinoma</strong>, a fast-moving, aggressive cancer. When the tests came back, it had already progressed to stage 3, having spread into my lymph nodes. <strong>For the next month and a half, I will be having daily radiation treatments and weekly immunotherapy sessions in Boston.</strong>
