Dads medical care and living expenses

Dad has always been independent, hes been driving a truck and funds always went back into keeping it running and to help other family. Has had a really hard time breathing, a little over three weeks ago he went to the emergency room. There he had to have a emergency trach put in to breath.  Cancer had grown around his larynx and clamped off his air way. His entire voice box has been removed. Now he needs help with basic care and home health care. Cant get Medicare or other assistance until three months. He wont be able to work for a few more months. He needs immediate assistance, with basic needs and medical supplies. Hes going to have to learn to communicate all over again. I've never been one to ask for help neither has he.
