Dad's House is Flooded!

I decided to create this GoFundMe page to help out my dad and stepmom.  Kevin and SueMarie Balthazor purchased their home about three years ago.  They did some major renovations to the house over the past three years, making it not just a house, but their home.  I found out earlier today (20 Feb) that my dad and stepmom have been fighting terrible runoff flooding water, which in the early hours of 20 Feb began to overcome the capability of their two sump pumps, and the basement began to flood.  Below are some pictures of what their yard looks like, along with how high the water stands in their basement (currently about 7 feet).  It only took 3 hours for the water to reach that height!  They tried to get services in to pump the water out, but were told that if they pumped out their basement, the hydraulic pressure in the ground could cause the basement walls to cave in.  My dad owns one large gas-powered pump, and purchased a second one today and has been running them non-stop.  In spite of pumping approximately 19,000 gallons of water per hour out to the street ditch, they haven't even made a dent.

I'm sure they've spent more by now, but as of late morning 20 Feb they had already spent about $1,000 in services trying to save their home.  As it now stands, they've done all they can, and for safety purposes have had to turn off the power and gas to the house.  They packed the essentials, and are staying with one of Sue Marie's sons.

The house is not in a flood zone.  Their insurance agent came out to the house and said even if they had purchased what they could have, it would not have covered this magnitude of damage.
