Dad's Fight With Leukemia: Funeral Aid

Donation protected
My dad passed away on December 7th. His suffering in this world has ended. Services will be December 18th at 2:00 at the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo. Thank you to everyone who donated, your help means so much to me and the family. This is my dad. Last April, he was diagnosed with MDS, a blood disease that can turn into leukemia. He was going to have a bone marrow transplant to hopefully help it. In December of last year, he had a massive brain bleed which shifted his brain. It was almost like he had a stroke. He was then no longer a candidate for a transfusion. He was transferred to Hanceville Nursing and Rehab. He never fully recovered and then he was in and out of the hospital for blood transfusions and pneumonia.

A couple of weeks ago, while at UAB, we were told that he has full-blown leukemia. He doesn’t have much longer with us. My dad has no life insurance. He always said to make the government bury him, but they only give a small portion to his funeral. If you can donate, all help will be appreciated.
