Knock on wood!!! Dad is thriving off the ventilator. He is talking and watching TV. Still pretty tired but positive vibes we are on the road to recovery.

My name is Jenni. My father had surgery on June 2nd and was to spend a week in the hospital. But due to complications and three more surgeries, he will be in the hospital a little longer. He is currently still in Surgical ICU and on a ventilator and dialysis. Unplanned expenses are affecting his girlfriend Carla, who wants to stay by him in Marshfield due to it being an hour drive one way from home up in Merrill. I myself drive to Marshfield daily to sit with him and just be here. I took off work to be here to provide support, so I currently have no income coming in until he is out of the woods. Doctors say he is still critical but is making little improvements daily, and we take those as little wins. I am just looking for help for less stress on all.
