In 2015, my mother passed away. My parents had been high school sweethearts, and my mother's passing hit my father very hard. In 2017, he rescued a puppy who has become his best friend and never leaves his side. She has brought so much enrichment to his life. Now, she has a cyst or a tumor growing on the side of her head that needs to be removed. It's urgent now because a cat swiped her outside and the growth is now open and won't heal.
