My daddy, Mike Pittman, was my best friend. He was always there for support or when I needed a laugh or hug. Monday he had a massive heart attack and was in the critical care ICU at the hospital. He fought as hard as he could for as long as he could, but his heart was too weak to survive. The most devastating thing in the world happened Wednesday morning when he took his last breath. My entire world was shattered.
He was unmarried and I am his only child, so all of the tough decisions from life support to funeral have been on my shoulders. He had recently started a new job, and did not have life insurance, so I cannot afford the bill to bury him.
He was such a special person in my life, and I want to make sure I can give him the funeral and life celebration he deserves. His bill at the funeral home is about $10,000. This does not include his headstone which I will be responsible for as well. No matter how small, your donation is much appreciated, and it will go directly towards his final expenses.
