Help Daddy's Dough Bake More Cookies

My name is MarcQus Wright; I am the founder and owner of Daddy's Dough Cookies. Daddy’s Dough Cookies® is a family business located in West Michigan. We produce our cookies in a shared commercial kitchen. We sell them in local stores and markets. In addition, we ship across the entire country.

The pandemic has created many obstacles, and we continue to endure. We are so grateful for customers that continue to support us.

We started baking in our home in 2015. We've operated in shared kitchens for the last four years. We are now asking for your help as we seek to transition to our very own baking facility. This move will help us to expand our offerings, increase the number of weekly shipping dates, restock stores more quickly, and hire more staff. Your donation will help us pay for equipment, supplies, moving costs, and facility changes to promptly operationalize and license our commercial bakery. This transition is a great long-term move, but the short term requires us to incur a tremendous financial investment. Over the next year, we anticipate spending $48,000 to make the kitchen our home. We've divided that up into three phases. Our most pressing needs are approximately $27,000. We anticipate using savings and additional revenue to cover a portion of the initial costs. We could use your help to bridge the gap.

Here are some of the items on our list: trash cans, mop kit, cleaning and sanitizing materials, brooms, refrigerators, freezer, single oven – electric, mixer – 20 quart, moving 60-quart mixer, dish drying rack, induction burner, Uhaul for the move, prep and packaging tables, etc.

After years of baking cookies for family and friends, our then five-year-old daughter, Mariah, recommended that we start a business to share our cookies with everyone.

Mariah loves the idea of giving cookies as gifts for teachers, her friends’ birthday party treats, and just-because gifts. Nothing makes us happier than being in the kitchen, creating new and unique cookie recipes. Our family loves to cook, and we come from a family where cooking, baking, and family meals are essential.

An excellent homemade cookie is hard to find; our family makes every delicious cookie from scratch; we do the work, you get the praise, making your whole family happy.
