Daddy's Fight
Donation protected
As some of yall know, my Daddy Michael Jenkins is fighting stage 4 advance pancreatic cancer and has been for some time now. His condition has forced him to retire early and has taken so much from him and our family. We found out about the cancer durning the time hurricane michael hit. Of course insurance didnt cover enough to fix their home, and with his condition we have been focused on his health not the house. He and my mother have been staying with myself. Mama really wants to take him home to be more comfortable in their own house while he continues to fight this battle. But the home needs alot of work as does the yard. We want to try to raise money to get this done for them so that burden is off their shoulders. They have much more to be worried with. We cant do it alone and we know that. That's why I'm here asking for help. We are a proud family who rarely ask for help but it's time to swallow some pride. Anything you can donate would be greatly appreciated. The medical expenses are taking a serious toll.
So a little bit about my father. My Father has been the rock of our family. He has always made sure we all had what we needed, and most of what we wanted. Working long hard hours at a demanding job, only to get off work from there to work a side job. He is our superman! However his condition is progressively getting worse. and has taken a big financial burden on our family. My father and mother were foster parents most of my life. They housed and loved hundreds of kids threw the years. I've seen my daddy help people who put knives in his back, knowing what they did to him. He was always the first person to lend a helping hand, or pull cash out his pocket to help when he could. Even for complete strangers. I dont think I have ever once seen him be lazy my entire life. Growing up he taught me and my sisters how to take care of ourselves, to shoot, grow a garden, change our oil, and tires. He supported us in all our decisions. Dont get me wrong when we were in the wrong we got our butts tore up and a long life lesson talk. I know everyone thinks their daddy is the best but I know mine is. He is the type of man that would give the shirt off his back to a stranger in need! He is and will Always be my superman. It is very hard to watch cancer take everything away from him.
