Dad's Chemo Treatments

My dad was diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer that has metastasized to his lymph nodes. A simple man, he survives off only $1000 of disability a month. He will be staying in a hotel for 6 weeks out of town for chemo and radiation treatments. While the hospital and his insurance agreed to cover part of the hotel costs, the rest of his disability check will be needed for what's left. 

That leaves him without access to food or any other necessities he may need, such as medicine co pays and gas to get back and forth to the hospital.

A grandpa of 5, Don would give the shirt off his back to help those in need. He is a loving father and PopPop and would hate to know I'm even asking for help for him. A proud man, he would never ask, however with the pandemic and his chemo treatments, I'm scared for him to use soup kitchens and such.

Any help you can give would be more appreciated than you could even imagine.
