DACA/Work Permit

For those of you that don't know about DACA , it's an immigration policy founded by the Obama administration in 2012. It allows immigrants that entered this country as children the opportunity to receive a work permit  and a deferral from deportation if they meet certain criteria. These DACA recipients must reapply every two years and the application fee is $495.
Thanks to DACA I have been given the opportunity to legally work in the United States and earn the money I needed to put myself through community college and study Natural Science. Times are thought and now it’s one of those times for me. I don’t have the resources to pay for my permit this year, sadly I lost 4 family members in less than a year and that was very hard for me and my family. It hurt us both emotionally and financially. My DACA is due to expired at the end of February and I need to cover the fees for my permit so I can continue with the opportunity to work in the US.
