Help 500 immigrants apply for DACA

DACA is a federal program that lets young immigrants who were brought to the United States by their parents live and work here.  These young immigrants are called "Dreamers." For many Dreamers, the U.S. is the only home that they have ever known. DACA is their lifeline and path to the American Dream. You can read more about DACA on our website here.

There are an estimated 3.6 million Dreamers in the U.S., yet only 700,000 of them have applied for DACA. This means that 2.9 million young people cannot legally work in the U.S., and they live in constant fear of deportation to countries that they don't even remember.

There are many reasons that so few Dreamers apply for DACA, but the cost of applying is a big one. The U.S. government charges nearly $500 to apply for DACA. DACA applications can be complicated, so many Dreamers need help to apply. Sadly, most can't afford the $500-$1,000 that lawyers charge for application help. To make matters worse, DACA recipients have to reapply - and pay all of those fees again - every 1-2 years.

Dreamers like Jonathan and  Dulce make America great, and we need your support to help 500 like them apply for DACA. Each $100 donated gives us the chance to help one immigrant like Jonathan or Dulce get their DACA status. Every contribution makes a big difference.
