Cross Family Fundraiser

As some of you may know, the Cross family was in a horrific car accident on the evening of June 20. Dan, Susan, Kieran, Rhiannon, Deklan and their dog were on the way to the family cabin to celebrate father’s day when an oncoming car crossed the center line resulting in a devastating head-on collision. Dan Cross was flown to Winnipeg Regional Health Sciences Center on the night of the accident in life-threatening condition.
Susan, who also received severe injuries, flew to Winnipeg to be with Dan and he is scheduled to return home to Thunder Bay in the coming weeks. We are eager and excited to have them both back, but it is going to be a long road to recovery. We hope to ease him and the family into a new way of life when he returns home as the injuries are significant and will impact Dan throughout the rest of his life. The family will require various support due to immobility from the severe leg, hip, and back injuries. We appreciate any help to make this a comfortable transition for the Cross family.
