Band of Builders 3 Peaks Challenge

From 30th September - 1st October, a group of volunteers and charity partner supporters from across the UK are uniting to take on the iconic National 3 Peaks Challenge climbing the highest mountain in Scotland, England and Wales in just 24 hours!
The 3 Peaks Challenge involves climbing the three highest peaks of Scotland, England and Wales, within 24 hours. The team will climb each peak in turn, and be driven from the foot of one mountain to the next.
The 3 peaks are:
Snowdon, in Wales (1085m)
Scafell Pike, in England (978m)
Ben Nevis, in Scotland (1345m)
The total walking distance is estimated at 26 miles (42km) and the total ascent is over 3,000 metres (9,800ft).
The team are taking on this iconic challenge to raise vital funds to support the services provided by the national construction charity Band of Builders - please read below to find out more.
ABOUT BAND OF BUILDERS
Band of Builders is the National Construction Charity providing practical, financial and wellbeing support for members of the UK construction industry and their families who face adversity due to illness, injury or life-changing circumstances.
Band of Builders (BoB) was born in 2016 when our founder took to social media to ask for help renovating the home of close friend and colleague Keith Ellick who had been diagnosed with terminal cancer. The incredible response from tradespeople across the UK saw the project completed and demonstrated what can be achieved when the industry stands together. From there, Band of Builders was formed and continues to complete projects across the UK with the value of TogetherStronger at its core.
Since that first project to help Keith, Band of Builders has completed a wide range of projects with a combined delivery value of over £1m which includes accessible bathrooms and kitchens, wheelchair ramps, cabins and even complete home renovations.
