Alexandra's DTS Missions Trip

Hey everyone!
For a while now, I've wanted to do something in my life that makes a difference in the world. We are so fortunate to live in this incredible country yet many people are going hungry, are at war and even dying. There are many abandoned and rejected children with no families, many suffering people that can't get any medical attention and many families that have no homes. God has put a passion in my heart to serve and make this world a better place whether it be by feeding the homeless or just putting a smile on a childs face. I know I can't change the world but I can make a difference in someones life. I've asked God to guide and lead me to where he can use me to help others.
After many months of contemplating, I have finally decided to put my trust in Him and attend a 6 month Discipleship Training Program with YWAM (Youth With a Mission). I can find myself going to villages preaching the gospel, teaching English, volunteering at the "Mother Theresa home for the Dying and Destitute", preaching in local churches, taking care of widows and orphans, feeding the hungry, giving medical attention to the sick, working on clean water projects and rebuiling communities after a natural disaster.I will be leaving everything behind and will be going abroad to attend this missionary school. I need your help and I'm asking for donations to be able to attend this program. As you can imagine, this program requires financial support from a number of people. This program will prepare me for my future in Missionary Work and I ask everyone that reads this to please pray and look into their hearts and donate to this cause.I am so excited for the opportunities and experiences that lie ahead. I hope you see the value in what I will be acomplishing. If you can support me in a financial way I would be very greatful, but most importantly I will need your prayer support through this journey. I am so excited, nervous, and just blown away by how God has been speaking and opening the doors for this amazing experience.
