Help a loved Marine!

My father, Gary Fay is facing the battle of his life! Diagnosed with Leukemia stemming from Agent Orange from his days in the Vietnam War as a Marine earning two purple hearts, Gary has now been faced with a very rare condition known as Tracheabronchimyalgia. After suffering many years locally fighting ongoing respiratory infections and diagnosed with COPD, University of Penn finally discovered the real problem- his abnormal trachea! Apparently this condition is so rare that only two hospitals in the country could perform this highly involved and risky surgery-Cleveland or Boston. My dad has now been in Cleveland Clinic for over 2 weeks facing about another possible two weeks for recovery and intensive PT. My dad has been on disability unable to work due to his diagnoses and the VA has not increased any benefits to date (still trying), My mom works, but has missed paid time due to my father's need for care. The medical expenses are piling and the costs of travel and lodging for his surgery, procedures, and soon to come inpatient rehab and follow ups in Cleveland have gotten out of hand. Our family has not been blessed with an easy life as I know many face, but my mom and dad would be the first in line to help anyone and this is why I'm reaching out! If anyone finds it in their heart to help out this ole grunt, please do!!!! We are pulling together the best we can to make things work, but as many of you know...life's just not easy at times and any little bit will helpI thank you all ahead of time for your consideration and help!
