Tutoring Support

Colorado public schools will not re-open this school year and may not open this fall. WE must do everything we can to help our kids to continue learning during this time. Our teachers need our help.
Since my work hours have been shortened I am dedicating one of my days off each week to free tutoring. I have a B.S. in Mathematics with a minor in Physics. I have done some substitute teaching and I was a full time middle school math teacher in a previous life. I've been tutoring for a few weeks now but find that I could be far more effective with a few supplies. Because my own work hours have been shortened I don't have the money in my budget to purchase these things myself.

I am not looking to make a profit and will shut down this fundraiser as soon as I see I've met my goal. Anything extra will be used to purchase school supplies for the very poor school districts in my area so they will have them when schools eventually re-open.

I need $50 for a white board and supplies.
I need $216 for a Google Nest Hub Max (employee pricing through work) so that my students can see my white board, I can hear my students, and they can hear me. My laptop camera is not good enough, neither is the speaker/microphone.

Now is not the time to expect others to ensure that our future generations continue to get the education they need. WE must all work together to support our teachers and our students.

Thank you in advance for doing your part.
