Evelyn Foltz Cancer Support Fund

Some may not know this, but October 2017 was considered Liver Cancer awareness month. With that being said, at the age of only three our daughter Evelyn has been diagnosed with Stage 3 Hepatoblastoma. This is a rare childhood liver cancer that happens in fewer than 1 in a million children. This was news that no parent wants to hear and it has been really hard to talk about, so please understand that we are trying to share as much as we can, when we are able to .
Evelyn recently started chemotherapy to shrink the size of the tumor so it can be safely removed; the tumor is large, and the chemotherapy treatment is expected to last many months, all of which she will spend in the hospital. She has a very long road ahead of her towards recovery and remission, and we ask that the love, support and prayers for her and our family continue to be sent by all of our friends and family.
Although the State has provided housing for us while Evelyn is receiving treatment, we had to leave our home in Fairbanks literally overnight and move to Anchorage to start Evelyn's treatment. Because of the unplanned move, and the time needed to take care of Evelyn, her twin sister Jadelyn, and her older brother Vincent, we are both unable to work at this time.
Aside from helping to cover the extremely high cost of the treatment itself, the Foltz family is requesting that donations be given to be used for the basic needs of the family, including food, sundries, communication costs, and other necessities that the family may need.
If you are unable to donate, please know that the love, support and prayers for her and our family will also help to sustain us during this time.
