Medical Bills, Eye Surgery

On July 26, 2014, my son was deeply pierced in his left eye with a 15-inch serrated kitchen knife which tore out the lens in his eye. So far he has had two surgeries to save the sight in his eye. As of this date, he is beginning to see shadows and colors through his eye which is very encouraging! But we are told we have a long way to go and the retina is still so fragile that it could detach inside the eye.  If all goes well, in about 6 months to a year, he will require a lens implant or cornea replacement.  The funds raised will go for surgeries, transportation, necessary medical equipment and bills.  This has been a very heart-wrenching and hard journey for our family, and we were very hesitant to ask for help.  However, at this point, we have no choice but to ask for help from our wonderful circle of friends and family. Any contribution would greatly be very much appreciated and a godsend.
