Recently Victor was diagnosed with STAGE 4A CANCER. This is his Support page #TEAMVIC...

Victor (33) is my loving husband, a son, brother, friend, and an EXTRAORDINARY father of three…Seriously the cutest little kiddos ever! Noah, Bella, and Halle. Lives in Dallas, Texas where he works hard to provide for his family. He has a passion for music, but most importantly loves the Lord. #iCan

Team Vic's Cancer Fund:

Searching for financial help, we found this website that talks about “the heavy economic burden cancer can be for the patients and their families. How hospital bills, lost wages and other expenses can add up quickly, even for patients with good insurance.” This is so true and where we find ourselves.

Vic will have treatments through December 2014. He has been put on disability for the rest of the year, due to how sick the treatments make him. With his pay cut to 40%! We need the help of our family and friends.

We are asking for your help to get through the next five months. Every donation will make a difference and please know that no amount is too small! #TEAMVIC

His Story:

Vic’s story begins with a “strange sensation” above his left eyebrow. He described it as feeling like a strand of hair on his forehead, but there was nothing there. A few days after this sensation, there is tingling in the same area, and later headaches. He has his annual eye exam and passes that with no changes. Later that evening we went to a Texas Rangers game, "Go Rangers!!!" While driving up to the stadium Victor starts to see double. Several times throughout the game the double vision would come and go…double scoreboard, double players and then it's gone. On the way home, he gets another flash of double vision. The time is mid-April. The journey begins…

Before the month ends the tingling sensation has become a mild numbness on his forehead and into his brow. The double vision is no longer flashes, but continuous. Fast-forward to late June, after multiple visits to the neurologist, a trip to the emergency room, consults with neurosurgeons, ENTs, an ophthalmologist, numerous CT scans, MRI's, a lumber puncture, and a hospital stay for a biopsy – Victor gets definitive details in the first round of diagnosis. There is a mass that is five inches behind his nose and in the middle of his head.

Through it All:

Needless to say the last couple of months have been strenuous… We’re so thankful for The Lord for providing him with the strength to get through it. #iCan

Vic hasn’t been able to talk or visit the last few weeks, because he’s been so sick and fatigued... But, he has really appreciated the prayers, calls, texts, and food.

Our family extends a special “thank you” to everyone for you support.
