Ms. Odinma's Classroom iPads

Greetings Friends and Family!

For the past 2 years while teaching middle school (grades 6-8) I have been seeking various ways to infuse more technology into our everyday lessons and academic practice.  This year it is my desire to really help my students become more capable and efficient with using the various means of technology available around us.  At the rate this world is going, it's imperative!  To do that, I need to raise $1500 to purchase 4 iPad Minis and covers, but I need your help!

I have chosen iPad Mini's to begin this journey for a few particular reasons.  iPads are versatile and very interactive.  They enhance the learning experience for students by adding a kinesthetic element and also allowing students the freedom of creative exploration in presentations and projects.

How will I use the iPad Mini's?  This is the best part.  Below are a few different ways I plan to utilize these tools in the classroom:

-Short film projects (iMovie, Movie maker Apps)
-Math Skill Center (enhance math resources for extra help)
-Enhance vocabulary and spelling practice
-Virtual Field Trips
-Digital stories (students create)
-Music Recording and Video Creation (all done by the students!)
