A Family in Need

Hello family, friends and loved ones. As you may be aware, I have been unemployed for some months, now, and no clear opportunity on the horizon. I have struggled with myself over the thought of asking my loved ones and friends for assistance. However, it is not just me who my pride is having an impact on. I really believe I have the best group of people around me, and that helped me to make the decision to reach out to you and ask you to lend a hand to help my family and I keep our obligations together until we can get back to where we need to be. Most of you are very aware that I have battled with Sickle Cell Disease for my entire life. Some family members have suggested that maybe I should be thinking about disability at this stage in my life. I, however, am still completely willing and capable of working and continuing to provide for my children. I am just humbly asking for a small blessing if you find yourself in the position to be a blessing. I believe completely that we are able to rally together and support one another.

Finally, please know that making the decision to do this is not easy, but very difficult. To get here is a testament to how much I believe in the family and friends God has placed around me, and the gentle kindness each one of you has exhibited to help us to get this far. I pray peace, blessings, and full prosperity for each and every one of you.
