Cuddle Bear Book Drive

September is Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month, and this will be our second annual Cuddle Bear Book Drive. I love the idea to bless children at the local Doernbecher Children's Hospital, by offering the opportunity for people to buy a Cuddle Bear book (with an awesome message about love) and plush bear to deliver to kids going through treatment. This helps remind these children how many people care about them, and gives them hope for their journey.
The fantastic part about this drive is that Usborne Books & More will match all of the donations with 50% more in free bundles. AND the company also donates 5% of the proceeds from the sales of these books back to the Scott Carter Foundation, a foundation that funds childhood cancer research.
Last year was our first year of the drive and we were able to donate 120 bundles and tons of extra books. Our goal is to match or beat our last year's donation. I am very excited about this opportunity and know these kids and their families will be extremely thankful when they are blessed by your generosity. Thank you!
