Hello!

I’m starting this fundraiser because my beautiful puppy, Carmen, needs to have surgery on her ACL. We live in Los Angeles and the vets I have taken her to have all quoted me with pretty hefty prices for her surgery and post op treatments.

I wish I didn’t have to reach out for help, but my financial situation has taken a hit this year. To explain the situation, two days after Christmas, my mom fell into a coma so we had to drive from California to Texas to be with her until she ultimately passed on February 20th this year. I’m so grateful I was able to be with my mom in her final months, but the financial toll that trip caused has prevented me from being able to get Carmen’s surgery taken care of. I honestly don’t know if I could have made it through the past few months without Carmen by my side, so I’m hoping holding this fundraiser will help get her back on four legs again.

Some of you may already know this, but for those of you who haven’t had the chance to meet Carmen, she is a wonderful and brilliant dog, and. She has a truly joyful spirit and loves to run and play. If you have the means to help my best friend get back to catching a  ball and chasing squirrels again, I will forever be grateful!!
