Family needs your help

Geary Wootten loves life. He's a proud father, a loving husband, a generous friend, spiritually devoted, a talented artist, a rock star without the fame, and a sympathetic ear to a problem he'd strive to solve. He'd tell you what's in is heart even though it may not be what you'd like to hear, it'll be pure and upon reflection be what you needed to hear. He has hope for the good in people and will always give someone a second and third chance if they're genuine. He's the quintessential starving artist whose talent and love for creating is recognized fully by only a few. Art is his passion in life in a world where beauty and talent doesn't always pay the bills. Still, he chased his dream through struggle and doubt and when he reached his goal of a studio near the California central coast, everyone who knows him knew he belonged there all along. He sacrificed comfort and stability to be happy doing what he loves. October 10th he suffered a massive stroke that threatens to take that dream away. As this is being typed, he's clinging to life fighting to survive. He is a fighter. He's lost functionality of the hand he creates with and it will take tremendous work for rehabilitation with no promises of recovery. This will put tremendous emotional and financial pressure on his love Julie who's been at his side the entire time through so much. Although his family will continue to have his artwork available by any means we can, with all the recovery ahead his family has to decide for him to let go of his gallery and studio in Cambria Ca. We're trying to raise enough money to keep his gallery open long enough to be able to have a benefit and final open house for people to come support him by purchasing his artwork, after which will only be available through online markets and possibly by appointments. He and his wife need all the help they can get especially in these next few months. He and his immediate family are very humble and don't like asking or depending on others but this is just too much, too soon. We ask that you would take a look at his art works and help in any way you could, whether purchasing originals, prints, or simply a donation of what you can give, our family would be extremely grateful. You can follow the links provided to explore the works he's created.
With love,
Wife Julie, son Tobias and daughter Elizabeth.
