HELP HEAL A FAMILY
I am trying to raise money for my sister and her family who have been recently traumatized by a freak accident.
Monday August 4, my nephew D Andre almost died. He was found unconscious and not breathing by his youngest brother Alec in their sister’s room. Alec then told his mother Candice and she raced into action. She had to give her son CPR and call 911. D Andre was rushed to the hospital. D Andre had a tragic accident. He was playing with his two year old sister Chloe when he tripped and fell and ended up being without oxygen for an unknown amount of time.
The hospital could not tell my sister if D Andre was going to live or die when they arrived at the hospital. Once he was stabilized, the hospital could not tell if D Andre would ever wake up or if he did if he would be the same person he was before the accident.
Luckily, with the help of the doctors and hospital staff, prayers and positive thoughts from family and friends, and the strong will of D Andre; he woke up and is himself again. He still has some recovering to do but his health is a miracle. He is now out of the hospital and getting back to normal activities.
With all of this great news of his recovery, we can now try to get the rest of the family past this event. We are hoping that a new place to live will be just what this family needs. My sister and brother-in-law have 3 sons (Drevin 12 years old, D Andre 10 years old, and Alec 7 years old) and one daughter (Chloe 2 years old). All the kids seem to be traumatized in some way from this event since they witnessed it. They do not want to be left alone in rooms and are having nightmares. My sister plays the day over and over in her head and is having anxiety attacks when she is back in the house.
This family needs a fresh start. My sister and her husband (Candice and Rick) are great parents they do everything they can for their kids and are trying to get things back to normal before school starts. They need help with moving expenses and the cost to break their current lease. Any donations are welcome. Please help this family if you are able. They deserve a fresh start so they all can fully recover from this near tragedy.
