These two beautiful, strong, forever fighting brothers need our help.
Thomas is now 9, but just before he was 1 he was diagnosed with Neurofibromatosis (NF1) which causes tumours to grow anywhere on or in the body, he has so far endured 28 months of chemo, four port surgeries and one tumour debulk. He has an aquired brain injury that has resulted in nerve spasticity down his left side and incredibly detrimental learning difficulties.
Harry at the age of 3 has just been diagnosed with Leukemia (pre B-ALL), he too has now started his own journey of treatment commencing chemo. The unfairness of it all is almost overwhelming.
The ongoing costs of specialist appointments, medication, travel to and from the Royal Childrens's Hospital, ongoing therapy and medical equipment would be struggle for any family, let alone a single parent family, with Sharelle (Mum) now limited to the hours she can work because of the increased amount of care both boys require.
