Hi, my name is Grayson Lee and I am an 19 year old trans man from Maryland. This is something I never thought I would do because I'm not one to ask for help but, this is something I don't think I can solely do by myself.

I am looking to get FTM Top Surgery with Beverley Fischer in Baltimore, MD. This step in my transition is very vital for me as I am binding over 8 hours a day just to keep my mental health afloat. I suffer from what is most known as "gender dysphoria", meaning my sex does not align with my gender, and to say it causes discomfort in my day to day life is an understatement. It's a horrible thing. But this surgery would help greatly to relieve a lot of it, as a lot of my dysphoria is centered around my chest. This surgery would help me to be able to look at myself in the mirror and finally see myself looking back.

The goal I have set is the complete cost of this surgery. I had a consultation with Dr. Fischer on the 18th of December and this is the quote she has given me. Insurance is not an option, because she does not work with insurance companies one on one. Meaning, even if my insurance were to cover it, the best they can do for me is reimburse me after I have already paid in full. And I currently do not have to means to get 8700$.
